About Me

Stokes M. Kasmeier

I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you, not harm you, to give you hope and a future.

— Jeremiah 29:11

I’m Stokes McCay Kasmeier. My life has been shaped by faith, perseverance, and a deep gratitude for every day I’m given.

I was born prematurely and have lived with hydrocephalus since infancy. Since the age of four months old, I’ve undergone 29 brain surgeries. Those experiences have tested me in ways few can see, but they’ve also strengthened my resolve and taught me the value of resilience, humility, and compassion.

My faith is the foundation of who I am. It guides how I live, how I treat others, and how I remain steady through both challenges and blessings. One verse that continues to encourage me is “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9). That truth has carried me through many difficult seasons.

Living with hydrocephalus has given me a deep respect for the dignity of every person and a heart for serving others with empathy and understanding. My journey is a testimony of God’s grace and faithfulness, and my goal is simple: to live with integrity, serve with humility, and honor God in all that I do.
